In vitro fertilization (IUI)

This word is known as the injection of the husband’s semen after treatment and condensation in the wife’s womb, and it is considered one of the simplest methods of treating infertility, which is applied to some of the following cases:
1 – The passage of a period of marriage with no pregnancy occurring in a healthy couple and they do not suffer from any problem hindering pregnancy
2 – The presence of some defects in the cervix that prevent semen from entering the wife’s womb easily
3 – A slight weakness in the number of sperm, their motility, and deformities in their shapes.
This process is done in two ways:
1 – Not to activate the wife’s ovary medically, focus on the wife’s one monthly egg, and follow-up and monitor ovulation through ultrasound and hormonal analysis, and then conduct fertilization.
2 – Giving the wife ovarian stimulants to obtain more than one egg, and in this case the percentage of pregnancy exceeds the first method, and the follow-up of ovulation by the wife until the fertilization takes place at a specific date that the spouses are informed about in advance.
The semen sample is taken on the day of insemination by either taking the sample at the Arab Center for Fertility and Infertility Treatment Hospital, or bringing it from the house, provided that the husband has abstained from sexual intercourse for at least three days, and the sample is washed and the sample is selected and active and fast moving from it and intensified. And injecting it into the wife’s womb using a simple device for insemination, noting that this process is painless and does not require local or general anesthesia, and after an hour the wife leaves the Arab Center for Fertility and Infertility Treatment Hospital to practice her normal life, provided that she returns after fifteen days for a pregnancy analysis.
